I've always had a thing for perfumes. I mean good perfumes, not those that smell complicated and make you remember your last heartbreak or the time you got beaten by your Maths teacher in Secondary School. I enjoy smelling nice fragrances on people, especially while in motion. It’s quite weird but I don’t mind. While growing up, the spread of perfume helped me understand the concept of diffusion and I find it interesting still.
I appreciate nature even more ‘cause perfumes are made from natural ingredients like flowers, fruit, gum, wood, resins, grasses, alcohol, coal, and some from animal anal secretions like whale poop, and whale sperm, to mention a few. Oops!๐
And yeah, no hype, just basic truth, I’m a super smeller. My olfactory sense never disappoints. I smell from afar, including blessings and danger. ๐ I could smell you and know how much grace you carry and even how much you have in your account. You think I'm kidding? ๐ Time would tell... Yeah, sometimes, just sometimes, I'd compliment you for smelling good. It gives me the impression that you love yourself and you're probably neat.
Recently, I was in a car with a lady that smelt so nice. Very nice! I couldn't help but compliment her. She responded with a smile and then we got talking. Today, we are good friends. The power of perfume. I can conclusively say perfumes make people sociable.

I’m also a dreamer. My imaginations are sometimes wild. It’s safe to say that in a world of chaotic thoughts, perfumes can stay still, listen to the heart, and delve into minds until Euphoria. Perfumes trigger memories or events that are important to us. It can make you travel to your first day at primary school and then swing you to the time your best friend gave you a gift and then bring you back to reality and remind you that you haven’t prayed and read the bible today. Hey, wait! Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. Don’t let perfumes always do the mathematics for you. Value the moment you share with friends and family.
Ok, I’m not trying to advertise any perfume. I’m just grateful for nature, its products, and the power of smell. Smell good! It’s necessary. It lifts your aura, boosts your confidence, relieves you of stress, and enhances your mood. Yeah, if you feel like hugging a stranger for smelling good, don’t hesitate and if you get slapped by the stranger, hold your peace and just cry to Jesus. Don’t forget to turn the other cheek too.
It’s been a while here. Let me officially welcome you back to my blog. I abandoned it for 3 months for reasons I can’t explain. I hope to be more active in sharing content. Much love!
Don’t resist the urge to comment. What amazes you about perfumes?
